このバッグは、古い中古帯の芯布を栗の皮で染色することで、自然な茶色に染め、新しい風合いの布に生まれ変わらせて使用しています。染色液の濃さや染色時間によって一つ一つ異なる色に仕上がります。
帯芯は、主に木綿で作られているとても固くて強い布なので、帆布と同様に丈夫なバッグを作ることができました。
Chestnut-dyed Two-Zipper Shoulder Bag
This bag is made by dyeing the core cloth of an old used obi with chestnut skin, dyeing it a natural brown color and reborn it as a cloth with a new texture. Each color is finished differently depending on the density of the dyeing solution and the dyeing time.
The obi core is a very hard and strong cloth made mainly of cotton, so we were able to make a bag that was as durable as a canvas.
